Privacy notice

Updated: 8 October 2026

Vanonderhoud is a private application operated by its owner for managing their own finances. It is not offered to the public.

Bank information

If bank synchronisation is enabled, the application uses Enable Banking to connect accounts authorised by the owner. Depending on the account and consent, information may include account identifiers, balances and transaction dates, amounts, currencies, descriptions and counterparty details. This information is used to display and organise the owner's finances and reconcile transactions.

Access and storage

Bank login and consent take place through the provider and bank authorisation flow. The application does not ask the owner to store their bank password. API credentials and bank connection information must be kept on the backend, outside public web files. Financial data is stored in the application's configured storage, on the owner's computer during local use or on their server after deployment.

Service providers

When the owner connects a bank, Enable Banking and the bank process information to provide the authorised connection under their own privacy notices. If the application is hosted on Contabo, its stored information will be hosted on that infrastructure. This application does not sell financial information or use it for advertising.

Retention and control

Imported information remains in the application's storage until the owner deletes it. Revoking bank consent stops further authorised retrieval but does not automatically remove previously imported records or backups. The owner controls their storage and backups and can delete those copies.
